What we collect ourselves

Orthodoxia is a static website. We do not run a database, we do not have user accounts, and we do not collect any information about you directly. We do not use first-party analytics scripts.

The hosting provider for the site (Cloudflare Pages) keeps short-lived server logs of incoming requests, which include the requesting IP address, the user agent string, the URL requested, and the time of the request. These logs are kept by Cloudflare for a limited period and used to operate and protect the service. We do not access or analyze them.

Cookies

The site itself does not set any cookies.

If you have an account with Cloudflare or if Cloudflare’s security tooling decides your connection looks suspicious, Cloudflare may set its own cookies as part of its security checks. These cookies are governed by Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Third-party services

The site does not embed third-party analytics, social-media widgets, or advertising at this time. If we add Google AdSense in the future, this section will be updated to describe what AdSense collects and how to opt out. Google’s AdSense data practices are described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

External links on this site (for example, to scriptural texts or to parish directories) take you to other websites that have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for those policies.

Comments and email

The site does not have comments. If you write to us at the address on the contact page, we retain your message for as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of corrections. We do not share email correspondence with third parties.

Your rights

Because the site itself does not collect personal data, there is generally nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on request. If you have written to us by email and would like the correspondence deleted, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If the way the site handles information changes — for example, if we add advertising or analytics — we will update this page and change the “last updated” date above.
